Disability Squad History
Teamipswich Swimming Disability Sessions began in 2006 under the direction of Liz Christian. The pilot programme reviewed the needs and potential for creating a viable swimstructure to the Ipswich Community. The beginning saw 7 swimmers quickly mushroom into over 20 swimmers. Through this pilot programme, it has been shown that the Ipswich Community would benefit from a fully supported programme. There are currently 4 sessions of swimmers from learn to swim through classified performance level swimmers. The goal and focus of each session is specially deisgned to mee those of the swimmers.
